Big Allied and Dangerous: Tracking and Studying the Most Dangerous Terrorist Organizations on the Planet presented by R. Karl Rethemeyer, PhD

In the last 14 years, Rockefeller College professors Karl Rethemeyer and Victor Asal have worked with over 50 UAlbany students to determine the answers to many questions concerning terrorism and its impact on America. In this informative session,  Dr. Rethemeyer will present an overview of the Project on Violent Conflict and its most prominent findings about terrorism, terrorist organizations, and attack prevention. Registration required. Art Song Festival
Performing Arts Center
Jointly sponsored by the Music Program and ENY/NATS, this festival champions the study and performance of the classical art song repertoire with this year’s particular focus on the Spanish song repertoire.  Participation is for non-professional singers giving them an opportunity to explore, coach and perform new repertoire, be evaluated by ENY/NATS members and compete to continue on in the NATS regional competition.  The three day festival concludes on Sunday afternoon with free performances by participants that are open to the public.
